Lights Go On at the BBC

Lights Go On at the BBC

The BBC has been in the dark ages for most of its existence, but seems to have seen the light recently. They are currently shopping out developers to bring some of the biggest names, including Doctor Who and Top Gear, to the gaming world. They are considering all platforms, from Facebook and iPhone to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Their preferences are the DS and Wii for the family-friendly titles and the big boys for the more adult games.

This could be very lucrative or disastrous, depending on how they do it. If they aren't involved enough in the quality of the game production, they could damage the names of some very well known properties. However, if the games are produced to top quality standards, the BBC could be looking at a lot of unexpected money.

So, which BBC show would you like to be made into a game? The Doctor? Being Human? Tell us in the comments below.
