LG has decided to embrace NFC in an interesting way: connecting your phone to your television. Instead of hunting for a Micro HDMI to HDMI cable to connect your phone, all you need is to get your phone close to the television in question.
Using Miracast as the communication foundation, anything that is displayed on the phone can be displayed on the television. The only requirement being the phone is close to the tag.
This is perfect for presentations with PowerPoint or collaborative document editing, all with the added bonus of not being physically tethered.
