Temp Traq Makes Having a Sick Child Easier

Saturday Jan 10, 2015 (00:04:01)

Description

One of the hardest parts of being a parent is having a sick child. It can be nearly impossible to focus on anything while worrying how they are doing and whether they are suffering a fever. A new product, Temp Traq, takes a lot of the worrying out of the situation.

The product is a temperature sensor that attaches to the child like a bandage. It allows the child to sleep comfortably while alerting the parent to fever spikes. The sensor send its data to any iOS or Android device to track temperatures, current and past.

Obviously, there is nothing about the technology that makes it child-parent specific. In fact, Jamie Davie, who is the TPN health correspondent, forsees a future where doctors could monitor patients in a health center like a hospital with the technology.
