Metal Gear Solid Delayed

Metal Gear Solid Delayed

Another game has now been delayed... A LOT. Metal Gear Solid 4 has now been delayed until 2nd quarter 08. Why, you may ask? Here it is:

Konami has decided to delay the title's release in order to make further improvements to the quality of the game and provide even greater enjoyment for more customers worldwide. Konami will continue its efforts to make Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots meet everyone's expectations.

This is sad, but not unexpected or surprising. We know that there are memory management issues on the PS3 that have been an issue for other developers. Hopefullt, they will work out whatever is the cause and put out the amazing game we know is coming.

Warner Goes Blu?

In a story that will make Adam cry, it appears that Warner Bros. is considering taking a side in the HD Wars. Up until now, they have released movies on both platforms, but that gets expensive, and they need to go one way or another. After looking at their own sales for each format, plus looking at the overall sales, it appears that we will be hearing an announcement soon saying that Warner will be losing the HD-DVD format in favor of blu-ray.

Simpsons Get Back at Rockstar

Simpsons Get Back at Rockstar

Here's the story so far:

1 - Rockstar wanted a poster removed from a show floor advertising the Simpsons level Grand Theft Scratchy.

2 - The level was renamed to Mob Rules to appease Rockstar

And now, Simpsons developers have lashed out at their new friends at Rockstar saying, "The people who make Grand Theft Auto spazzed out like little babies."

We here at PLuGHiTz Technologies hope that the next step will be a whiny rap song from either side. Boys, BRING IT ON!

The End of the PS3 Downslide?

We've said many times that the PS3 is an amazing console, they just haven't really done much of anything to make it something we want to buy. Well, it is time for that to change, or so it seems. They have recently brought out the $399 console, bringing it more in line with the 360, especially since you get 5 free blu-ray movies for buying the console.

Now, we've entered November, an essential month for gaming, and the PS3 has a pretty incredible lineup. Check out the link for all the games coming this month!
