iMedicpac to Help Families Monitor Medication Intake

Wednesday Jan 22, 2014 (00:05:25)

Description

For families with older family members living independently, one of the biggest concerns can be medications. Some people take several different types at different intervals and it can be confusing for anyone. If you are in this situation, iMedicpac can give you some peace of mind.

A connected pill box of sorts that is filled at the pharmacy with special blister packs, the iMedicpac is designed to help keep people on track with the medications they take. When a medication is removed from the blister pack, an alert can be sent to family members informing them that the medication has been taken.

The product is currently under review from the US FDA, and upon approval, will retail for $250. Because of the secure nature of the information, there will also be an $8 to $10 monthly fee for management.
