While Google may have recently ended its Google Glass Explorer program, the concept of augmented reality is not gone. On the contrary - with products like Microsoft's HoloLens coming to market soon, it is proof that the industry is just getting started. A big name in the AR wearable world is XOEye, a brand that Avrma Piltch has spoken on The Piltch Point about.
XOEye sees a future for them in the industrial and manufacturing spaces, as opposed to selling directly to consumers. They imagine a world where a floor foreman can view a layout of their warehouse, or a repair technician can see live instructions on fixing an issue, all through AR.
