Duplicate Your Hard Drives Care of Aleratec [Live]

Description

Everyone knows of the concept of a CD or DVD duplicator, but most people may never have considered a hard drive duplicator. That could be because it is far more difficult to determine the purpose of such a device. As an IT manager, though, you can see the benefit of duplicating a drive to flash new computers, etc.

For those who can use the benefits of a hard drive duplicator, Aleratec has you covered. Their 1-to-5 HDD Copy Dock Advanced gives you the ability to take one source drive and duplicate it onto up to 5 drives at once. The device can support 3.5" and 2.5" drives, meaning that you can use standard desktop, laptop or even SSD drives.

Impressively, the source and destination drives do not have to be the same size. If the source drive is larger than the destination, the only requirement for it to work is that there be enough drive space for the content on the destination. The company also offers larger duplicators for larger organizations, supporting 24 drives at once. You can also perform a secure drive wipe, actually destroying the content of the drive as opposed to just hiding it.

The 5-1 duplicator will be available soon for $899.
