PBS will be at the February 5, 2010 show in New Orleans to film the event for a June PBS broadcast and a subsequent worldwide DVD/Blu-ray release. Tommy Tallarico from Video Games Live said,
We are not only going to have special guests from the gaming world -- game composers and game designers from around the world -- we're also going to have special musical guests and celebrities not from the gaming world, but who are very well known and fantastic performers.
